Identify and remove whatever
is fuelling your cancer

“If you don’t ‘Stop Making Cancer’, it doesn’t matter how good anyone is at getting rid of it, it will come back.”

Dr. Thomas Lodi, MD, MD(H), IMD, DHS

Why you need to remove these things from your life

Bad diet and lifestyle

Diet and Lifestyle are among the causes of up to 90 percent of cancers, according to this paper published in the prestigious journal Nature.

Cancer cells have a voracious appetite for Glutamine, Methionine Glucose and Iron. The following are known to remove iron from the tissues and to prevent its absorption:

Baicalein (the most powerful)
Curcumin
Green and especially black tea
Hesperidin
Naringenin
Inositol phosphate -6 (IP-6)
Quercetin

Avoid the following:
Bad fats – saturated fat and n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids
Processed meats (ideally avoid all meats)
Simple carbohydrates – especially glucose.  Evidence exists that chronically elevated blood glucose, insulin and IGF1 levels facilitate tumorigenesis and worsen the outcome in cancer patients.
Protein – especially Glutamine. Glutamine is a building block of protein. Cancer’s need for glutamine is so great that some cancer-causing oncogenes alter how much of it the cells take up and digest. One of the best known, the gene MYC, promotes cancer in part by increasing cancer cells’ access to a steady supply of glutamine, according to Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center

Toxins
Toxins are nearly everywhere, from consumer and personal products, to our homes, workplace and even the air we breathe.
Some of these are carcinogenic and need to be eliminated immediately.

Iodine Deficiency

NAD+ (anti-aging supplement). Recent studies suggest that cancer cells of many types depend on NAD+ to sustain their rapid growth, according to Scientific American.

Histamines
Histamines are chemicals found in some of the body’s cells. Histamines are linked to cancer – Study

Cimetidine (Tagamet) is an anti-histamine with anti-cancer properties according to this study
Note: There is some concern that the antihistamine Cimetidine has estrogenic properties. If you have a certain type of breast cancer or prostate cancer, for example, this may be a concern.

Loratadine is an anti-histamine. This study of 54,406 women with Breast Cancer diagnosed in Sweden 2000 through 2008 found that women treated with second generation antihistamines including Loratadine had a better overall and BC specific survival compared with non users.

Chronic Inflammation
According to the US National Cancer Institute chronic inflammation may be caused by infections that don’t go away, abnormal immune reactions to normal tissues, or conditions such as obesity. Over time, chronic inflammation can cause DNA damage and lead to cancer. For example, people with chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease, have an increased risk of colon cancer.

Obesity
People who are obese may have an increased risk of several types of cancer, including cancers of the breast (in women who have been through menopause), colon, rectum, endometrium (lining of the uterus), esophagus, kidney, pancreas, and gallbladder. – National Cancer Institute

Infectious Agents (eg Epstein-Barr virus)
Certain infectious agents, including viruses, bacteria, and parasites, can cause cancer or increase the risk that cancer will form. Some viruses can disrupt signaling that normally keeps cell growth and proliferation in check. Also, some infections weaken the immune system, making the body less able to fight off other cancer-causing infections. – National Cancer Institute

Toxic relationships
According to a Ohio State University study breast cancer patients who have a poor relationship with their spouse may face a more difficult road to recovery than would other women.

Researchers found that, over five years, patients in distressed marriages had higher levels of stress, less physical activity, slower recovery and more symptoms and signs of illness than did similar patients who reported good marriages.

“The quality of the marital relationship may not be the first thing women worry about when they get a cancer diagnosis.  But it may have a significant impact on how they cope physically and emotionally,” said Hae-Chung Yang, co-author of the study and research associate in psychology at Ohio State University.

Grief, Distress, or other emotional turmoil
This study concluded: The current data suggest that the death of a child was associated with a slightly increased overall cancer risk in mothers and that the increase may be related to stress-induced adverse life styles.

This study says: A pooled analysis of unpublished raw data from 16 prospective cohort studies suggests associations between distress and cancer, most notably for carcinoma of the colorectum, prostate, pancreas, and oesophagus and for leukaemia. This adds to the growing evidence that psychological distress could have some predictive capacity for certain somatic diseases

Geopathic Stress
This study says: Long-term exposure to stress-inducing factors usually causes more pronounced negative effects. It is widely known that in such cases of chronic stress the immune system may be down-regulated…In severe cases, cancer, cardiopathy, autoimmune diseases and major psychopathies may develop… Electromagnetic fields – no matter what their source is – under certain circumstances may be hazardous to health, possibly affecting a number of important bodily systems, such as the nervous system, the cardiovascular system and the immune system, thereby also elevating the risk of developing cancer.
